This bronze sculpture of a woman with her hands tied, lying in the water of the lagoon of Venice, represents the women of the resistance. It was created by Augusto Murer. The base was designed by Carlo Scarpa and dates from 1961. It is made from concrete with copper plates, and is surrounded by an irregular field of concrete stones with varying heights.
