Complicity - Painting by TARA - Contemporary Artist
This painting is part of a series of female portraits shown at my solo exhibition in Bellagio, Lake Como, Italy. Each painting encompasses several layers. As I work I feel the urge to add layers. It is as if each one represents a story, a moment, an experience that overlaps with the previous one, creating a web of memories and emotions. In my artistic process, I try to evoke a sense of nostalgia, of temporal suspension, in which the past and the future merge into one intense moment.
