Seitan is made from wheat gluten, which, when breaded and... | By Meatless Monday | Is my vegan fried chicken fingers recipe that I've been making for like five years now and it hits every time. You do need an instant pot if you want the quickest, easiest version and I do not have the patience for those Satan recipes that require 100 random ingredients. This one is literally just vital wheat gluten and vegetarian chicken flavor broth and if you want to make it a little bit more tender, add some chickpea flour or nutritional yeast. It cooks for just 15 minutes in the instant pot and then you want to make some vegan buttermilk with soy milk and lemon and then do a double batter with that and some seasoned flour. You can also do pan coat breadcrumbs if you prefer that and you can bake or air fry it for a slightly healthier version but sometimes a good old pan fry is just what I want. I've done all three methods though and enjoy them all so grab this recipe below and follow for more.
