When something is born, not always is a gift from heaven, not really. It's strength, passion, volition, effort and, only then but not always, success. We strive to put all these ingredients in what we do. And we do give birth to furniture.

Segis - E-motion, designed by Giancarlo Piretti. Finding out how a chair is born. First of all it is a #sketch on a sheet where is explained the #mechanism of the flexible back and the articulated elements. If those elements are not perfectly aligned, the chair doesn't flex well we do start again with a new prototype.
