This is a vintage Japanese pair of 6 panels folding screen called Kin Byobu, gold leaf screen from Taisho period (1910's-1920's). Gold leaf on paper with paper hinges, textile border and wooden molding. Byobu is very practical, separate interiors and enclose private spaces, also decorative uses. There are some wear on the byobu, but no damages. This set is in a great condition and will be perfect for tea ceremony, festival, concert or any special occasion. 24 1/2"W x 69"H each panel
