101-year old Stanley Grauso, "On the Lam" I asked Stanley where his family came from in Italy; "Why are you asking me? I'm not Italian, I'm Sicilian." His autobiography tells the story of the Prohibition days in Connecticut and Stanley's memories of Lucky Luciano, Dutch Schulz, and other goodfellas created by the Volstead Act. I bought a signed copy of the book. Stanley was born in 1912.

Dining Hall (Refectory), Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Tuscany The Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore is a large Benedictine monastery in the Italian region of Tuscany, 10 km south of Asciano. Its buildings, which are mostly of red brick, are conspicuous against the grey clay and sandy soil—the Crete senesi which give this area of Tuscany its name. It was founded in 1313 by Bernardo Tolomei.
