Montefeltro

Frédéric II de Montefeltro, en italien Federico II da Montefeltro ou plus généralement Federico da Montefeltro, (Gubbio, 7 juin 1422 - Ferrare, 10 septembre 1482), duc d'Urbino et comte de Montefeltro de 1444 à sa mort, fut l'un des plus célèbres condottieres de la Renaissance. Homme de grande culture, il fit de l'ancien municipe romain d'Urvinum Mataurense (Urbino, en français Urbin) le centre d'une cour raffinée où il entretint de nombreux artistes.
