a bumblebee bat, the smallest mammal in the world

Baby Bats... so cute

Amazing bat....the only mammal naturally capable of true and sustained flight. Aaaaaand, they don't really get caught in your hair. June bugs are what freak me out, bats are the coolest.

The Bumblebee bat, (or Kitti’s Hog Nosed Bat as it is also known as) the world’s smallest bat and is also the worlds smallest mammal. These cute little creatures are just 29 – 33mm in length, and have a wingspan of approximately 170mm and weigh a tiny amount of 2 grams. (Source)

Baby bat - to me bats aren't something out of a horror movie, they're sweet creatures who happen to fly at night. I think they have a bad reputation. just look at those sweet innocent eyes. I would love to hold one one day.
