5.) The Tipo125 was the first car to come out of the Ferrari company and it huge success in the Monaco, British and World Series Grand Prix as well as the famous Le Mans endurance race. Unfortunately for Enzo his son died in 1956 and his marriage fell apart as a result. He became very depressed and isolated himself from everyone but still kept the business running.
Over the years Enzo slowly sold stake of the company to Fiat with of the the assets being owned by Fiat by the time of Enzo's death at age The Scuderia team went on to win many Formula One Championships and the Ferrari name is still world renowned today.
2.) Enzo had poor luck in later years; having to leave the army after becoming very ill and having his application to work at Fiat, the Italian car manufacturer, rejected. He later on found work at a now closed down car manufacturer named CMN. Enzo began racing competitively in 1919 and after a small success in the Targa Florio race he managed to get a job with Alfa Romeo where his success as racing driver only grew.
