Vintage Shelley Morning Glory Tea Cup & Saucer, Bone China, England

Shelley Morning Glory Tea Cup & Saucer, Bone China, England. Part of mum's collection of cups and saucers. I believe this set was purchased in the 50's as my family seems to recall. Ever so pretty with a white background and a ribbed design to the set. The cup is white with a ribbed pattern. Blue Morning Glory flowers are found all around the outside of the cup. The inside also has a smaller flower. Pale blue trim with a pale blue handle. The cup does have an ever so tiny little black spot on the inside. It is in the glaze. Does not take away from the beauty of this lovely tea cup though. Measures 2 1/4" high with an opening of about 3 1/3" wide. It is marked on the bottom along with the name Morning Glory. 13885 is the pattern number. The saucer has a scalloped rim along with the ribbed pattern. Pale blue trim around the rim. Three bouquets of Morning Glory flowers in different sizes found all along the outer rim. No damage found on the saucer. Measures a little over 5 1/2" wide. Marked on the bottom in green along with the name and pattern number. This is truly a lovely set. Bone China, Made in England.
