Quiet Floral with Star and Clovers (#468)

This is a photo, of the front, of the original rug, in poor condition. The way this rug was hooked is a study in neutrals, with its light motifs silhouetted by the medium to dark golden browns, tweeded tan and grey, and warm beige neutrals. The center motif in this rug could be a flower or a star with odd shaped motifs coming from the sides. At the four corners are scroll like leaves and bud clusters with clovers separating them.
