Monarch Buterfly Embroidered Patch Ready for iron-on or sew. Measurements: Patch: 3.5" W X 2.25" H Patches are a great way to give life and coloring plain articles of children's clothing and other accessories like caps and backpacks! You can personalize gifts for friends or loved ones. IRON ON PATCH INSTRUCTIONS: Do not use an ironing board. Use a table or countertop with a hard surface. The ironing board has a soft surface and you must use a dense hard surface. The heat from your iron will dissipate into the soft surface of the ironing board. The goal is to melt the adhesive, on the back of the patch into the fabric. 1. The garment should be clean & freshly laundered (including new items). 2. Pre-heat iron to "cotton" setting. DO NOT USE STEAM DURING APPLICATION 3. Thoroughly iron area of garment where patch will be placed. 4. Place patch on garment, embroidery facing up. 5. Place cloth or light towel over the patch and using a slow circular motion, press firmly for 10-15 seconds until patch tacked in place. - NO BACK AND FORTH MOTION. 6. Turn garment inside out, and iron the back of the patch for 20 seconds. 7. Let cool for one minute. If the edge of the patch can be lifted, repeat step 6. Do NOT use on fabrics that have low melting points, such as nylons, types of vinyl, or leathers. Do NOT bleach. We recommend turned the apparel inside out during washing.
