About the photographer: Born in New York City in 1936, Margaret Randall is a renowned writer, feminist, poet, activist, photographer who has lived in Spain, Mexico and Nicaragua. She has published many books and has just released her autobiography, "I Never Left Home" (Duke University Press). DETAILS: Dimensions of the image are 7.5" x 11" across. CONDITION: The condition of the photograph is very good but you will notice the paper has warped a bit on the upper white part and also on the bottom. Probably due to some moisture over the years (the photograph is from 1985) CONDITION of FRAME: The frame is metal. Besides the small nicks here and there, notice in the photographs that the top part (the part that faces the ceiling) has some repair work (black paint) to cover some of the flaked part of the original black enamel. The reasonable price of this photograph takes into account these factors. THE BACKING: The back of the frame has paper which has been repaired and which you can see in the photos. GLASS or HARD PLASTIC: The frame also has glass (or could be a very hard plastic that feels and looks like glass). This is original and signed photograph is from 1985.
