Yes kids, we had to actually purchase flashes for our cameras. Does anyone else remember these? My first camera was pink, used 110 film, and I had to save my money to buy these 10 use flip flash bulbs.

Silly Putty. You could press it against the comics and the ink would stick to it.

SILLY PUTTY and you always had to try and lift the comic off the page. Loved Silly Putty & funny pages. Also pressed quarters on it to make impressions.

Rubber pants to cover cloth diapers. We used cloth for about two days, then it was, screw the budget, and the environment.

Every one of my kids wore cloth diapers and rubber pants. Before the day of disposable diapers, cloth diapers were pinned on and then covered with waterproof pants which were referred to as "rubber pants.

bottle caps had cork linings....  There were contests with data printed under the cork!

bottle caps lined with cork. You'd try to pull the cork out intact. It was a mark of pride to get an entire cork out without it ripping apart.
