Last night while writing through my Make it Count devotional from @illustratedfaith, I couldn't stop thinking about this quote: "You could be the only Bible someone reads." Wow. What a great reminder! Sometimes it's easy to just go our merry way, not thinking of the impact we can have on others, but just the way we treat others can make such a difference. #leahsillustratedfaith #illustratedfaith #if_makeitcount
"Every good and perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change." James 1:17 It's never too late to start a good devotional! Im honestly not sure why it took me this long to get #listsbyfaith but I'm so glad I did. Why I love the Lord. I always go back to how God is constant. He is true. He doesn't change and He remains faithful. In a world full of unknowns I know my Father and I know His character. #illustratedfaith…
The more I'm in God's word the more this is proven true. It always amazes me (though it shouldn't) when a passage I've read dozens of times suddenly jumps off the page and slaps me in the face or stabs me in the heart. Or brings me to my knees. Or makes Christ come alive in a whole new way. It reveals and judges my thoughts and attitudes. And it is transforms me. Powerful stuff here people. (Day 9/29) by handcraftedclems
I started the Lenten plan today and I'm already in love. This is one of my favorite hymns: "In the cross, in the cross, Be my glory ever; Till my ransomed soul shall find, Rest beyond the river." Lord, remind me of who you are.
