The Sound I Saw by Roy DeCarava: This book features a collection of 196 beautiful soulful black & white images taken around the early 1960′s. The images capture a brilliant amount of emotion and are amazing to look at. DeCarava died in 2009 at the age of 89 but I’m sure his work will definitely live on.
