Make more room in your freezer by dehydrating frozen veggies! We do this in over drive right before winter in case of power loss. Yes this is likely GMO corn. It will be put back for emergency food and if we don't need it in 5-7 years no big deal it can go into the trash. Sometimes I forget about corn likely being GMO but I do try hard!
Putting back dry beans as opposed to putting back "Quick Cooking" beans. If you think about an emergency situation where you might need to utilize your food storage you may want to consider putting back "Quick Cooking" beans. Some beans require soaking over night (which also means a big pot or bowl of water) then they still require rinsing (more water) then boiling in a pot (more water) After I cook them I will dehydrate them and then put them up for food storage.
