Bragi is the skald of the Aeisr. He inspires Skalds(bards) and their songs that recall the actions of the warriors. The runes are carved on his tongue. It is believed that the historical origin of the cult of Bragi could be in a ninth-century poet named Bragi Boddason, who after his death would have been elevated to the status of god.
Norse goddess Nanna, mother of Forseti, god of justice and reconciliation, and wife of Baldr. After Baldr’s death she dies of grief, and her body is placed on Baldr’s ship with his corpse and the two are set aflame and pushed out to sea.
