Edinburgh, Pub on the Corner (2020) Acrylic painting by Andrew Reid Wildman

On a corner of an Edinburgh street, at the edge of the New Town is a pub, a cosy place of good cheer and laughter, the air laced with whisky and hops, its face turned to Leith Walk and the slow decent to the docks. I was struck by the shapes and colours of the frontage, by its sharpness. The work is on a 0.4 inch deep canvas so it can hang without a fame if wished. Texture has been added to give extra depth.
