How to preserve beautiful fall leaves. A great idea for four-leaf clovers, too! Mix one bottle of glycerin (found in the pharmacy department) with two parts water. Make a fresh cut in the leaf stem and then soak them in the solution for 3 days.
Leaves must be completely dry. Melt beeswax in a double-boiler. Can use old candle stubs. (Optional - add a few drops of cinnamon oil). Hold leaves by the stem and dip in wax. Let excess drip off, then lay them on waxed paper to dry.
