According to her family, she became fond of a young crew member, but the romance was cut short when the Titanic collided with an iceberg. The crew member gave Roberta a White Star badge from his uniform which she always kept with her in later life. She never revealed the steward's identity. The Countess and Ms Maioni were rescued in lifeboat 8.

Titanic.  It is said their eyes were rimmed red to appear as if they had been crying. They were also manufactured with a somber expression.  16in.
