Sirius B is an incredibly dim star from to Sirius, the Dog Star, the brightest star in the night sky sky. Sirius is prominent in the night sky in Winter and Spring, and you can easily spot the brilliant star looking East and south of Orion the Hunter
The eye at the center of this galaxy is actually a monstrous black hole surrounded by a ring of stars. The galaxy, called NGC 1097 and located 50 million light-years away, is spiral-shaped like our Milky Way, with long, spindly arms of stars.
The Eridanus Void. This area shows almost no signs of cosmic matter, meaning no stars, planets, solar systems or clouds of cosmic dust. Researchers couldn't even find dark matter, which is invisible but measurable by matter once present in the region.
