I was lucky to be in New York City on the opening weekend of the unveiling of the beautiful new Whitney Museum of American Art and the inaugural exhibition.

Faro a Dos Luces Pertenece a la etapa artística más temprana de Hopper, este en concreto es un ejercicio de perspectiva y composición geométrica.   Las técnicas de iluminación, coloración y disposición de elementos, se vieron desarrollados de forma potente durante toda su carrera, ejemplo de ello son las obras: Atardecer en Cape Cod (perspectiva similar) y Ground Swell (tratamiento de la luz similar).
