"Teetotum" at the Berwick-Upon-Tweed Museum and Art Gallery, Northumberland - This was a small top which formed the basis for a gambling game: players would put their bets into a common pot, then take turns spinning the teetotum.  The side that is revealed on the top is associated with a particular set of instructions, each represented by a single letter.  So...like a Gentile version of a dreidel.
