Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon (2008)~~~~This rich wine is deeply complicated, but congenial. Powerful wood notes and black pepper, with a hint of smoked meats and mint. The mouth takes light first step, then fills the palate and has a black-fruit finish and a touch of jam. This wine should be approachable to many drinkers, fun to take in, dignified. It is a great wine for the price as well.

The 2011 Indian Wells Cabernet from Chateau Ste. Michelle is our warm climate ripe, jammy “New World” style of Cabernet Sauvignon.
