"Harmony of design seems to imply that all of the elements must be exactly the same, for example, using mer- chandise that is all red, in shapes that are all the same, and in textures that are similar. Such a display would be harmonious but not very interesting. In design, a display can include some variety and still be considered harmonious."  This is used daily in window displays and the retail world, or even as we dress daily.  Similar and basic but with a simple sense of personality.
