norwegian easy rommegrot recipe: 4 cups milk 1/2 cup butter 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup flour 1/4 teaspoon salt cinnamon DIRECTIONS Pour milk or cream into a saucepan and heat until slowly boiling. Stir in flour gradually, whisking constantly with a wire whisk. Remove from heat.  Heat 2 cups milk on stove top or microwave. Set aside and keep warm. Melt butter until bubbly.  Stir in 2 cups cold milk and bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly. Add hot milk, stirring constantly.
