Evening Dress Charles Fredrick Worth, 1867-1870 The Philadelphia... (OMG that dress!)

Warp printed evening gown, French, late 19th cent. Ground of pistachio silk faille jacquarded with tiny white leaves and flowers. Satin brocade worked in embroidered splashes of tiny white stylized daisies and grasses exuding from blurred oval champagne ground medallions containing polychrome sprigs. Trained skirt, boned bodice with tulle overlay and velvet band under bust.
