Prince Igor Constantinovich of Russia (1894 – 1918), was the son of HIH Grand Duke Constantine Constantinovich of Russia by his wife Elisaveta Mavrikievna née HH Princess Elisabeth of Saxe-Altenburg. Igor attended the Corps des Pages, an imperial military academy in Saint Petersburg. He enjoyed theatre. He was brutally murdered by the Bolsheviks along with his brothers & cousins in 1918 in a mineshaft near the town of Alapaevsk

Mathilda-Marie Feliksovna Kschessinskaya was perhaps the most notorious ballerina in Imperial Russia. Her love affairs with Nicholas II (before his marriage), and two Grand Dukes gave society much to talk about. In 1921, she married Grand Duke Andre, youngest son of Grand Duke Vladimir. Grand Duke Krill, Andre's brother gave her the title of her Serene Highness Princess Romanova-Krasinskaya.
