Cow being a foster mom to some lambs

The Cow and Her Lambs♥ When the mother of these two lambs was not able to fulfill her maternal duty, a couple running a small New Zealand farm had to take action. They introduced the lambs to Little Brown the cow, and the trio immediately bonded.

Jersey cows! We had two Jersey cows from which we got our milk. Mostly my brothers did this, although I often had to go out into the pasture and bring the cows into the barn.

I grew up on a dairy with Holsteins, but I always loved pretty Jerseys. My sister and I had to go out into the pasture and bring the cows into the barn. Jersey cows had more cream content in their milk.

Mamma och barn

In my efforts to learn to read, my mother shared fully my ambition and sympathized with me and aided mien every way she could. If I have done anything in life worth attention, I feel sure that I inherited the disposition from my mother.
