Bannerman Castle, on Bannerman Island (Pollapel) in the Hudson River, near West Point.  Was actually an arsenal storing leftover weaponry from previous wars. The family lived in a separate castle on the island. Can be accessed by ferry from either shore, or by kayak guided trip.
