Joined a unit of the Sébastien Faure Century, which specialised in high-risk commando-style engagements, part of the French-speaking section of the anarchist militia.Her comrades saw she had poor eyesight and was a very poor shot and tried to avoid taking her on missions, though she did sometimes insist. She was burned in an accident and left Spain to recuperate. Her unit was nearly wiped out after she left.
