A German Pappenheim rapier, circa 1620  Slender, double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section, the ricasso with mark "T" struck on both sides. Swept iron hilt, the guard plates with fine lattice-like openwork. One arm of the quillons well replaced. Grip with original Turk's heads and replaced iron wire wrap.

This is an uncommon pappenheimer rapier design, without the knuckle guard and there are not many original examples. Here the specs: Weight: 1160 grams Lenght: 122 cm - Width: 27 cm - Blade .

An Italian sword with cut iron hilt circa 1560/70 Double-edged, flatly ridged blade, the ricasso stamped "MZ" under a crown on both sides. The short groove etched with "DE FRANCISCO ZUIZ EN TOLEDO". Finely cut and open-work iron hilt (loosened, slightly curved up at the ricasso) with pas d'*ne on the reverse side. Iron wire grip traversed by silver and with Turkïs heads.Length 107.5 cm. Ottoman yatagan / yataghan, 19th century, watered-steel single-edged slightly curved blade with single fuller, the chappe with cusped cartouche containing elegant arabesque, the interstices with small leaf-motifs, one side of the blade with cusped cartouche issuing palmette and containing later owner's inscription, Sahib Kuchak Husni Agha, with possibly associated silver hilt of typical form engraved with floral motifs, the silver scabbard elegantly worked in repoussé, 31½in. (80cm.) long.
