A pair of 18th century English lady's dress shoes, of buff leather trimmed with a chocolate brown silk rosette and edging.

) Ladies slippers, English, about Made by John Staton, English, active about White kid bound with reddish orange ribbon and painted with lines of red; there are low red heels.

Slip on shoes, pair, womens, leather, maker unknown, England, c1790-1810    Womens pair of straight slip on shoes of turnshoe construction with needlepoint toes and covered wedged louis heels. Shoes consist of red morocco leather uppers, low cut, oblique side seams and silk bound edges. Uppers lined in linen with grip in back and the sock/insole is coarse linen. Red morocco heel white stitched and leather sole features a sueded forepart and fiddle finish at the waist.
