Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945) was a German Lutheran pastor who strongly opposed the rise of Nazis in Germany. He was arrested by the Gestapo and executed in a concentration camp. His words still resonate today.

"Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak." ~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German pastor who stood against the Nazis.
