I literally stayed up until A.M to make a single birthday card for a friend!<<<SAME I just stayed up till midnight a couple nights ago to finish a painting for my friend.

Nobody looks at my art anyways so I don't worry that much

Omg one time I had a PERFECT drawing. I inked it with my friends pen. It was a new pen... it bled...everywhere...I ripped it into shreds. They tried to tape it. They would not let me have it back because I wanted to rip it again.

EXACTLY. (only make that sculpting instead)

(only make that sculpting instead)// like seriously it's a problem bc one day I can create masterpieces then the next you couldn't tell the difference between mine and a three year old's

My friends and some family are now into drawing because of me and they always say, " oh I'll never be as good as you Raquel!!" And I always tell them, "keep trying and you'll get better and better, and don't stop drawing. It's one of the greatest things I've ever started. :)" they'll be better than me at drawing someday.

Every new artist feels this. The professional artist's job is to encourage and mentor.

'I can draw pretty good, but I am an unappreciated and unpopular artist' 'My grandfather, he is the only one who can draw in my family. I inherited this skill from him' 'No. I am too impatient, I am sorry!

I'll go back to the page before the one I'd currently be on and cringe... My art says no

There’s this one drawing of a sonic character I did maybe three years ago, and I was so proud of it back then, but looking back at it, there was absolutely no shading, and one leg was much shorter than the other!

Literally me with everything

I literally started drawing the other day at am 😂
