1970s Gas Crisis (People want to deny that it happened. Well guess what?) I lived it. I remember it.

Gas shortage of the Very long lines for gas. I remember this so well, especially the sitting in the car, no air conditioning as we waited for our turn at the pump.

Singer treadle sewing machine: we had one at home that I used for my DS homework...

My mom's old singer sewing machine I remember my mother making quilts for my sister and I with this machine. This was also the first machine I learned to sew with. My mom still has hers.

Remember these hanging/swag lights in the 1970s? My Mom had one just like this one. If I had one today, I'd hang it up in the Living Room.

Nothing said home decor better than swag lamps.and gold shag carpets. We had this exact lamp in our living room.

Vintage green chrome dinette with cracked ice tabletop

Formica tables vinyl chairs my mother loved this color. I remember this table from an old restaurant. I still can't paint anything in my house green I think it traumatized me LOL

˚Washing Machine by Maytag My great grandmother still had one of these when I was a child. It was in a room off of the kitchen. My cousin said "it was better than the old one, because this one had the electric wringer" and I am talking 1970, lol.

My grandma used this type of washer when I was a kid. I remember wringing out clothes through that wringer on top! I remember when Mom got her first automatic washing machine!

Most kitchens had a match holder/dispenser! Most gas stoves did not have a pilot-light; so a match was needed to "light" the cook stove and space heater. Matches were also used as deodorizes in the bathroom!

Old school pencil sharpener. Omg when the teacher put it too close to the wall and you'd hit your knuckles every time you sharpened your pencil.
