Little Nonnie Pawnee Otoe Indian dancer. Wow, I remember this pic on a postcard when I was a little girl. Then later when staying for the summer in Pawnee, OK my brother's neighbor was Nonnie.

Gertrude Three Finger, Cheyenne by William E. Irwin (1871-1935). Irwin worked in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arizona in the 1890s and early 1900s, and specialized in photographing Native Americans. This photograph is an albumen print mounted on a cabinet card, archived in the Western History Collections of the University of Oklahoma Libraries, and featured in A Stylistic Analysis of American Indian Portrait.
