Ravilious & Bawden portrait acquired by NPG; the portrait, in watercolour, is a rare early work (1933) by Michael Rothenstein, who knew the pair well in the 1930s and would later establish himself as a major part of the small community of artists at Great Bardfield - the Essex village made famous by Ravilious and Bawden.
