To be honest, I think most BLTs are kind of boring. There's always something on the menu that sounds better and more interesting... and I can't remember the last time I made one at home. That said... this version, the Leona BLT, from @leona.venice, is insanely good. It's stuffed with braised bacon, heirloom tomatoes (red and yellow), butter lettuce and Gochujang mayo on grilled croissant bread. Not boring. Not boring at all.
