Tanzanite Merelani Hills, Tanzania Glassy and lustrous gem Tanzanite crystal that is very gemmy from top to bottom. Complete and undamaged, highly gemmy, overall excellent quality. The clarity and intense blue color on this one is exceptional.

TZ278 - Tanzanite $ 1750 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.8 x 1 x 0.8 cm -  Rare green Tanzanite crystal. This color is very uncommon and was only found many years ago, this piece having been released from a private collection. The crystal is complete and undamaged though there is some irregular growth along the left side.
