The movie was inspired by international smash hit "Arrivederci Roma" [Goodbye Rome] (1954); music by Renato Rascel (as Renato Ranucci, his real name); Italian lyrics by successful playwrights Pietro Garinei and Sandro Giovannini; English lyrics by Carl Sigman.
