I love the relative simplicity of the Indy cars from the 1960s.

Indy 500 winner A. Foyt Starting Position: 4 Race Time: Chassis/engine: Coyote/Ford LL:)

The Gurney Eagle. Probably one of the most handsome Indy cars of all time. Right up their with Wilbur Shaw's Boyle Maserati, Belond Special, Al Unser's Yellow Submarine Chaparral, Jimmy Clark's Lotus, Andy Granatelli's Lotus Whooshmobile turbine, Mario's Essex Penske, and the Tokheim/Mexmil Special from 2000. Neat stuff.

Dan Gurney leaves the pits at Indianapolis in 1966 in the first AAR Eagle Indy car built by his own company. Nice pic of the OLD tower terrace, replaced by the current pagoda.
