Late 18th Century Gillows Gentleman's Dressing Table, with original mirror and Wedgwood bidet. Mahogany finish enhanced by cross-banding and satinwood stringing. Although the washbasin and soap dishes have been replaced, the dressing table still has its original mirror and Wedgwood bidet. This is a well-constructed, functional piece of furniture typical of Gillows and a wonderful example of Georgian cabinetmaking at its best.
