German MG-42. The Best Machine Gun of WW2. My personal favorite Machine Gun too.  It shot over 1500 rounds per minute! :-{ Ouch of your fighting aginst this Motherfucker!!

CAVEAT: Though frequently posted here as "German soldier" or the like, this is a modern re-enactment plainly credited to Hungarian photographer Balasz Santha at the top. It is not a genuine wartime image.
