"Emma" 1996.” Some of its qualities included first-rate performances from the likes of Raymond Coulthard and Olivia Williams. There were certain sequences – like the Westons’ Christmas party and the Crown Inn ball that were great. And I was not that impressed by in the lead role of Mark Strong as Mr. Knightley . He was far too seroius. In the end, this ”EMMA” proved to be my least favorite adaptation of the 1815 novel.
