Cartier Aigrette - Belle Epoque, c. aigrette tiaras became the rage in women’s fashion. They came in wing shapes for the opera, and egret feathers, real or expressed in jewels, were attached to magnificent diamond tiaras.
Designed as an enclosed circlet of oval and lozenge-shaped old-cut diamond plaques between openwork foliate motifs, surmounted by swags supporting eight diamond-set strawberry leaves between cushion shaped diamond spacers.
