David Zinn: As promised, here are two photos of yesterday's 60-minute live TV art challenge: archived on the well-lit floor of South Street Skateshop, and hung safely out of reach of curious fingers in a secret location nearby. (Sluggo says the fireplace and mood lighting make it look like he died honorably in battle . . . presumably after snagging his foot on his own name.). Check out Deck Art 2014; fantastic artwork and friendly people all over that neighborhood. In Rochester, MI.

Since 2001, artist and illustrator David Zinn has stalked the streets of Ann Arbor, Michigan, creating temporary illustrations with chalk and charcoal. Zinn improvises each piece on the spot and makes use of found objects, street fixtures, and stairsteps to create trompe l’oeil illusions.
