Ostrich feathers have been used for decades to make feather dusters. In this design, I’ve paired an ostrich plume stitch pattern with a lovely mohair/silk yarn to create a light-as-a-feather triangular scarf.

Delicate scarf / shawl made of finest Italian kid mohair, the finest hair of the young Angora goat and a 40% share of silk. The proportion of silk gives the stole an incomparable shine. It is wonderfully warm and light as a feather. Size of the stole on the photo: Length 200 cm Width
This delicate lace scarf can be crocheted in any gauge yarn. The sample shown uses a luxurious alpaca/silk lace yarn crocheted doubled to make a scarf that is exquisitely soft and that drapes very well.
