Made by Peter Ross, former master blacksmith at Colonial Williamsburg, finely wrought and filed wall-mounted mechanism, 14 x 19 in., spindle 45 in., with three weights, chains, other accessories and mounting hardware; lot includes 24 x 18 in. photograph of Peter Ross seated beside an anvil and drinking from a teacup, spindle by George Dixon, (seven pieces)    Estimate $6,000 to $8,000
